France Hotel Sth West Chateau Cavanac

Hi,
Chateau Cavanac is an excellent Hotel which can be found on http://www.chateau-de-cavanac.fr/
Whatever the cost (but it should be OK) food at Chateau Cavanac is excellent.
We discovered this place in 1999 on a boys trip and have been back a number of times since, both with the bikes and with wives. I stayed there in July of this year with my wife. The set menu is €42pp which includes 3 bottles of wine per couple. White, Red and Rosé. This set menu also has lobster as a choice and runs to 5 courses.
It is in a small village which has no other bars etc. Good for the ride-sleep-ride type of trip.
By the way the restaurant is closed on a Monday night. The receptionist was very helpful in ordering us an Espace Taxi to transport the 6 of us down to the walled city of Carcassone which is about 5 miles away where we had a choice of nice reasonably priced restaurants. The driver gave us his card so as we could phone him for the return journey.
Just for your info the mobile reception around Carcassone is poor. There is a bank of public phones as you come out the main entrance to the walls.
